Frequently Asked Questions
- You have two options: a) Log your shares as a guest (no need for an email or registration) or b) If you want to be able to update the number of shares your own later (in case you buy more) you can create an account using an email address (can be a burner email. You can use a disposable email from https://temp-mail.org. We are not interested in collecting your private info such as email address).
- Add the total # of shares you own and type it into the text-input box. If you have multiple brokerage accounts make sure you use a calculator as wrong information will NOT be counted.
- Upload position screenshot(s) (make sure to scratch out your account number, name and other positions - We dont want to give out any insight into ape business).
No one materially benefits from this product. This is for educational purposes only. Our statistical modeling has long detected discrepancy in number of outstanding shares and the shares sold. This may give us some additional insights into synthetic shares and naked shorting. If we find significant results, we may reach out to legal representatives of AMC and GME and present the findings while maintaining submitter's privacy.
The number of shares you enter will be verified against the screenshot(s) you upload before they are added to the database. Mobile screenshots are preferred and they contain less info. The screenshots should be non-tampered (no Photoshop). The screenshots will be processed by AMPED Authenticate Photoshop detector https://ampedsoftware.com/authenticate and will not be logged if tampering is detected and the IP of submitter will be blocked indefinitely.
You can use a proxy IP instead of your own IP (see below to learn how). So, we are not interested in your IP address and it has no value to us or anyone. The IP address is used to prevent flooding, fake screenshots and multiple submissions from one device. Your IP address is logged the moment you visit any website. That is how internet works. We do not sell, publish, or share your IP address. It is only used to verify and prevent duplicate submissions.
You can use VPN's or proxies to hide your IP if you are concerned about your privacy, HOWEVER, if ANYONE else is using the same "proxy" IP address then your shares may be marked as duplicate and NOT COUNTED OR LOGGED.
The screenshots should be untampered (not photoshopped). The screenshots will be processed by AMPED Authenticate photoshop detector https://ampedsoftware.com/authenticate and will not be logged and if detected the shares will not be counted an the IP will be blocked infinitely. Every image will be both digitally reviewed for signs of editing or manipulation. Any submission with the slightest sign of manipulated information will be discarded. Mobile screenshots are preferred (codes can not be edited).
No. Will this cause the SEC to recall shares? HIGHLY UNLIKELY. We have ZERO connection to the SEC, and it is plausible but highly unlikely that the SEC would force a share-recall based on Log The Float information. So, If the SEC won't recall the shares, why would I bother to Log the Float?
To have a more-accurate account of the number of shares held by retail, and to show the world the information we've been able to compile and bring EYES AND EARS to the current realities of the manipulation and synthetic shares created in AMC & GME.
GME DRS shares should not be added/logged and if they are will be removed. We already have a system in place to count for GME DRS shares: https://www.computershared.net/ For AMC however, since no such systematic effort exists users are encouraged to submit all shares whether they have or haven't been Direct Registered.
No, we're not in contact or partnered with AMC or GME.
We are not collecting your personal information and we have no interest in selling anything and there is no data stored beyond, the IP (you can mask your IP), emails (burners are OK), and screenshots submitted (you should remove private info).
We have statistical modeling systems that we use to extrapolate data with a high degree of confidence level. Not everyone needs to participate.
